1- Queen of Fashion by Caroline Weber
Marie Antoinette revolutionized fashion in her time, more than that, she revolutionized their time through fashion. In this revealing and original work, full of beautiful illustrations, Caroline Weber adopts a different perspective from any other biography ever published on the controversial life of the French queen. And it shows how fashion was at once the reason of Marie Antoinette's acceptance and the reason of her tragic end.
This is my number 1° to be read book this summer, after watching a movie about Marie Antoinette and a documentary.
